I found another project for kids to make. This one is for homemade modeling clay. They can have fun with this or use it for homework projects.
Modeling Clay
What you need:
2 cups of salt
1 cup of boiling water
1 cup of cornstarch.
What to do:
1. Bring salt and water to a boil.
2. Pour cornstarch in a separate container and gradually pour in cold water until it becomes easy to pour or of a liquid texture.
3. Add liquid cornstarch to the boiled mixture and stir until mixture is very thick and transparent.
4. Pour mixture onto waxed paper and allow to cool.
5. Divide the clay mixture and color sections with food coloring. Keep one section white.
6. With a rolling pin or side of a bottle, roll clay out flat.
7. Create your designs and allow clay to dry into shape desired. Press out any cracks that may appear while clay is drying.
Note: Leftover clay may be stored wrapped in waxed paper and refrigerated.

I bought this old slip for a little girl years ago and hung it on the wall on a pretty hanger. Samantha wore it on her third birthday. It was really cute. Then the other day I was looking at it hanging there on the wall and realized I never took a picture of Rylie Jo wearing that little slip. So I put it on her and took her outside for a photo session. Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday.
I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend. Be safe!
Have a great day & hugs to all my friends!

Hey! Thanks for the comment. Nice to meet you! Made me choke when you said the ....thought it was early menopause.....yep...preggers......" part. I ran across a spare pregnancy test 2 days ago, and contemplated using it. But thought, Why know when guessing is so much more fun!
Angel
