Good day...here are a few ways to make removing splinters a little easier.
Splinters
- Lay scotch tape over the splinter and pull off.
- Soak the area in vegetable oil for a few minutes before removing with tweezers.
- Pour a drop of Elmer's Glue® all over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.
Spring is on it's way...hopefully, so I thought I would include this link to "22 snappy spiffer-uppers" from Clean Home Journal. I love to decorate and re-decorate...LOL...not so sure the ol' man is too thrilled with my "hobby". Whenever I get into a real throrough cleaning the room usually ends up being re-arranged, at the very least. The last time I cleaned the bathroom it ended up being re-painted. I'm still waiting for the ol' man to put down the tiles I bought.
So if your anything like me and you enjoy "spiffing" up the house, check out some of the tips. It looks like they have some pretty cool ideas. Hey, if ya do any fixing up around your house post the before and after pictures in your journal and I'll be sure to post the link.
Have a good day!
Welcome to any new readers & hugs to all my friends!

I've heard of putting glue on your hands to get a splinter out, never heard of soaking in vegetable oil before. I might have to try that sometime.
